Champion Speedway will host the final race of the season and a Halloween costume contest

OWEGO, N.Y. (WBNG) – Champion Speedway will host its final race and a Halloween costume contest on October 27.

Champion Speedway will hold a Halloween costume contest during the break, prizes are $100 for best adult costume and $75 for best child under 21 costume.

There will be a memorial for quad racer Lonni Whitmore who died suddenly of cancer. After the speedway is finished, the quads will converge on the main track for Whitmore.

Gates open at 11am, with the TT riders starting first on the back track, followed by the Quads on their oval track at 1pm
