Late night meal on Davie!

Barra Gitano, from the same team that brought you Ophelia and Monarca, is now open in Davie Village. With a more intimate setting and just 100 seats between the dining room and outdoor patio, Barra Gitano offers a more relaxed and casual dining experience than its sister restaurants, serving Mexican and Latin-inspired dishes.

Taking over the former space of Mary’s on Davie, known for its advocacy and amplification of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Barra Gitano has big shoes to fill as the restaurant operated out of this corner location for over 40 years.

Hours are minimal to begin with. Open daily at 4 p.m., with hopes of launching a weekend brunch soon, Barra Gitano’s menu features small bites, appetizers, and tacos to order in trios, as well as an extensive cocktail program featuring signature South American flavors, like a spicy pineapple mezcalita and plenty of mezcals.

Hi!

Barra Gitano is located at 1202 Davie St.
