Kentucky fugitive found walking on I-75 in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota deputies arrested a fugitive wanted in Kentucky walking along I-75.

It happened last March. Marvin Coffey got into an argument over a rental agreement and drove off down I-75. That’s where Sarasota police found him.

According to their records, Kentucky law enforcement had issued a warrant for his arrest. Coffey is currently in the Sarasota County Jail awaiting his extradition warrant.
