Woman shocked after returning from holiday to find her living room was a migraine-inducing ‘stink bomb’

A woman was shocked to find her living room had become a “stink bomb” after returning from holiday. She claimed a cat managed to get into her living room and “spread” a smell that nearly made her throw up.

The woman said the smell was so unpleasant it even gave her migraines. Desperate for a solution, the West Midlands resident launched an appeal on social media.




She wrote: “I need help… A cat came into my living room while I was on vacation and sprayed an almost vomit-inducing amount of stink bomb.

“I have tried my hardest to get rid of it, but I can’t. Can anyone suggest something that has worked? I actually get migraines because of the smell.”

The woman’s post sparked a wave of responses from people offering to help. Some recommended using organic dishwashing liquid in the living room, while others suggested using a mixture of baking soda, white vinegar and water.

One woman wrote: “A cheap and effective solution is a biological washing liquid in solution. If you think about it, it is designed to treat blood, sweat and urine.
