Watertown Police Chief Announces Two Promotions

Two members of the Watertown Police Department have been promoted. See Police Chief Justin Hanrahan’s announcement.

Chief Hanrahan is pleased to announce the promotion of Kenneth Swift to Lieutenant and Mark Leitner to Sergeant effective Thursday, June 27.

Lt. Swift has served as a school resource officer and held several positions within the detective division. He will assume command of the detective division.

Sergeant Leitner is a 22-year veteran of the department and an experienced police trainer in several areas. He will serve as the patrol supervisor during the evening shift.
