Oneplus Nord 4: New leak shows Google Pixel-inspired look and unique design (WATCH)

(MENAFN- AsiaNet News) The upcoming OnePlus Nord 4 is shaping up to be a sleek mid-range model, with leaked promotional materials offering a glimpse at its design and potential features. Here’s a look at what we’ve learned so far.

A two-tone rear panel for the Nord 4 is shown in a leaked poster provided by OnePlus Club. There is a striking similarity between this design and the Google Pixel 1, 2, and 3 series. With squared corners, a dual rear camera layout, and a distinctive overall design, the Nord 4 offers its own twist.

From the leaked photo, the Nord 4 is mostly made of metal. The glass appears to be the top part around the rear cameras, so it could provide a contrasting material. Three color possibilities are revealed on the poster:

  • Silver with a patterned lower part

  • Mint green with a brushed metal finish on the underside

  • Black with a brushed metal finish on the underside

  • All three colorways share a darker upper portion compared to the lower portion, further emphasizing the two-tone design.

While official specifications are yet to be revealed, rumors suggest that the Nord 4 will feature a powerful engine. It will reportedly feature a more powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset than the Nord 3, which was its predecessor.

Expected specs for the display include a 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a possible boost to peak brightness of 2,150 nits.
OnePlus may reportedly ditch the 2MP macro sensor used on previous generations in favor of a 50MP main camera setup and a simpler 8MP ultrawide camera.

With a larger 5,500mAh capacity and support for a faster 100W charging cable, battery life could also increase. We won’t have to wait long for official confirmation of these leaks, as the launch event is scheduled for July 16. The OnePlus Nord 4, with its distinctive looks, potentially impressive specs, and affordable price tag, looks set to be a solid mid-range alternative.
