Gavi sends public message of support to Barcelona teammate after Euro 2024 elimination

FC Barcelona star Gavi has taken to social media to send a message of support to a likely dejected teammate from last season.

The player in question? João Félix.

Singer Felix, for his part, took his place in the headlines across the continent late Saturday night.

Unfortunately for the 24-year-old, this happened for entirely less than positive reasons.

After taking responsibility for a spot-kick during Portugal’s Euro 2024 quarter-final shootout against France, Felix misfired, his shot hitting the post and going out.

It was the decisive moment of the penalty shootout, and France qualified for the semi-finals of the Euro at the expense of Portugal.

So we can say that Felix has undoubtedly gone through a difficult 24 hours on a personal level.

Gavi, in turn, was quick to send a message of support to his Barça teammate for the 2023/24 season the day after Friday’s clash.

On his official Instagram account, young Gavi revealed a photo of the couple, accompanied by the caption:

“Always with you my brother”
