Samsung Galaxy Ring pricing revealed might shock you

Samsung Galaxy Ring pricing revealed might shock you

We are just a few days away from the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10 at the Louvre Museum in Paris. Samsung is expected to present the Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds3 series, and the Galaxy Ring, a health tracking device.

Information about the Galaxy Ring has leaked several times in the past. Last month, mosaic promotional images of all the products that are set to debut at the Unpacked event leaked. This confirmed that the Galaxy Ring is finally coming.

Later, the FCC certification of the Galaxy Ring revealed many details such as the different ring sizes available and the battery sizes that each ring size would be equipped with. Details about the charging case were also revealed in a leak. Some code strings were also found in the Samsung Find app, which revealed that users would be able to find their lost Galaxy Ring using the app.

A new report posted online by WinFuture reveals the alleged European price of the Galaxy Ring. And the leaked price is much higher than the previously rumored starting price of $300.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Ring would be priced at full price in France, which is €449. For comparison, the most popular health tracking ring, the Oura Ring, is priced from $299 in the US and €399 in Europe. If the leak is true, the Galaxy Ring could be priced in the US between $350 and $450, which is much higher than expected.

One big factor that could explain the Galaxy Ring’s higher price tag could be that, unlike the Oura Ring’s $70 per year additional subscription cost, Samsung might not charge users a subscription fee, at least for the first year. However, Samsung has previously hinted that some of its Samsung Health and Galaxy AI features could be available through a subscription model.
