Nurse Finds Out Man She’s Dating Has Pregnant Girlfriend

Imagine you are a nurse and you receive a cute message from someone you are dating while you are at work. A few hours later, suddenly, this person shows up at your workplace.

At first, you’re happy! What a sweet gesture, who doesn’t love being surprised by their spouse? He’s coming to relax with you during your lunch break? Maybe he just wants to stop by to brighten his day (and hopefully yours)?

But when he looks you in the eye, his eyes widen and his mouth drops open: it’s like he’s seen a ghost. Your confusion lasts only a moment, because almost immediately, you understand why he’s so panicked: it’s because his pregnant girlfriend is following him to a scheduled C-section appointment.

That’s what TikToker Lae Penny (@officiallaepenny) said she encountered while working at the hospital where she works – her viral clip detailing the shocking story has racked up over 1.3 million views on the popular video-sharing app.

“Guys, I’m still processing what just happened, but I need to talk about it before I break down, because what the hell! Why am I at work right now and this guy?” she says, pointing to someone off-camera, laughing before the clip cuts to her having pulled herself together.

“The guy who’s been talking to me for a few months just showed up with the mother of his baby,” she laughs.

“The mother of his baby!” she repeats. “The mother of his baby who is about to give birth. Okay. Whoa!” she says, shaking her head at the camera.

“He comes in here, as soon as he sees me, his face darkens. I’m confused, and quickly enlightened because the mother is behind him with her belly in front of her,” Lae tells the camera.

“Wow!” she repeats again. “Wow!” she exclaims before giving more context to the situation:

“For those of you who are confused, I work in a hospital, okay? You can see everybody and their mother, including the guy you’re talking to. The guy you’re talking to and his mother-to-be,” she says, yelling at the camera.

To top it all off, Lae said, the guy she was talking to didn’t even stop to consider the possibility of running into her, and he didn’t seem to be thinking about the fact that he was going to have a baby with someone else the very day he was texting her.

She seemed stunned by the “audacity.”

“Can you make this up? No. And it’s like she came here for a scheduled C-section, which means you knew, you knew that today you were going to have a baby but you text me, wow!”

Maybe you, as a reader, are trying to give this man the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you think he had a one-night stand with the mother of his child and she got pregnant.

Maybe he’s being an honest man and going to the hospital with her support because he wants to see his child born, right? And the reason he looked down is because he felt guilty for hurting Lae and putting her in this situation.

But then she went on to talk about what happened between the guy she was talking to and his baby’s mom. Judging by the way she approaches it, it seems like they could very well be in an intimate relationship.

“And then she said, oh baby, grab the bag. Baby, grab the bag. Just when I thought it could have been your sister, baby, grab the bag? What the hell?”

Lae then said she chose not to say anything or make a fuss because she wanted to make sure the pregnant woman had as happy a birthing experience as possible.

“And it’s like you’re sitting there with the stupidest face and because I’m a woman first and foremost, I don’t want this girl’s blood pressure to skyrocket or have a bad pregnancy or childbirth experience, but wow! Traitor. Traitor. Traitor. Traitor!”

“What makes this shit even crazier is he texted me two hours ago. So what was your excuse while you were in the delivery room? I was sleeping? Dude…” she says at the end of the clip while looking into the camera.

Many TikTokers expressed shock after hearing Lae’s story, but there’s another person who, unfortunately, experienced something similar: “My nurse was so weird to me when I had my son and I found out she was sleeping with my son’s father and she just couldn’t control her disbelief that I had just had her baby,” they wrote.

Others applauded her for considering the woman’s feelings before saying anything: “I love that you thought of her in that situation and didn’t want to ruin her delivery.”

A sentiment that someone else echoed, writing: “Bravo to you for thinking of her before yourself in all of this! That’s admirable!”

“I respect you for thinking about her birthing experience. I love you so much for that!!!,” another remarked.
