Jennie Garth And Pierre Facinelli formalized their friendship with a boat trip.

“So if you caught this week’s update on the ‘I Choose Me’ podcast, you’ll know that there have been some BIG changes since my ex, Peter Facinelli, and I sat down to discuss all things co-parenting, divorce, and integrating significant others into our kids’ lives on the podcast,” Garth, 52, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, July 7. “When I decided to choose to have this conversation, I had hoped that it would bring positive change to both of our families’ lives, but I honestly didn’t think we’d get to the point we are at now!”

Garth said they had a “family day out” and shared several photos from their outing. (Garth and Facinelli, who were married from 2001 to 2012, share three daughters: Luca, 27, Lola, 21, and Fiona, 17.)

“It was a beautiful day and seeing the girls happy made my heart so happy! 🩷,” she wrote.

“I’m still in shock that no one was pushed overboard! 🤣 #success,” she joked. “Thanks for organising this @peterfacinelli.”

The post comes days after Garth provided an update on where she and Facinelli, 50, stood after she appeared on his podcast to discuss their dynamic.

“I want to share something with you guys real quick. The good that came out of this podcast…and especially the episode with my ex Peter,” Garth said earlier this month on his “I Choose Me” podcast. “Guys, we’re officially friends now.”

During the episode, she also teased their upcoming boat trip. “And this week, get ready, we’re all going to go on a boat trip with the whole family,” she said. “Whether we push each other over the edge is still to be determined, but that’s the power of the group, friends.”

As they discussed milestones in their friendship, Garth announced that Facinelli had unblocked her on social media. “I was blocked on his social media for so long that I stopped caring years ago,” she said. “But I’m unblocked now. That’s big news.”

Before Facinelli joined Garth on his podcast, she exclusively said We Weekly that she had extended an invitation to him, but that she had “never thought” that they could have a “civil conversation about (their) feelings.”

“We’re going to talk about co-parenting, because we’ve definitely had our ups and downs with that and we’ve had to learn to respect each other’s styles and positions on things and it hasn’t been easy,” she explained in May. “I’m hoping to have a really honest conversation about the challenges of that and what it takes to get through the times when we don’t see eye to eye on things.”
