Diddy Breaks Social Media Silence After Posting Photos on Instagram

Diddy Breaks Social Media Silence After Posting Photos on Instagram

On May 17, CNN aired a shocking video of Sean “Diddy” Combs physically attacking his former girlfriend and labelmate, Cassie Ventura.

In the video, Combs is seen chasing Ventura down a hotel hallway. He also dragged her by the hair and punched and kicked her repeatedly. The heinous nature of the video of Combs attacking Cassie has prompted a slew of investigations.

Naturally, the video’s release sparked a myriad of backlash against the music mogul. Combs eventually succumbed to the pressure of the backlash and deleted his Instagram page entirely in June. But after deleting his Instagram account, Combs made his comeback, breaking his silence while boarding a private plane.

“The rap mogul posted a new video to his Instagram Story, showing him walking towards his private plane at an airport with a carpet on the floor that read ‘Combs Air.'” TMZ wrote.

“Diddy briefly stopped and turned to the pilot who was standing on the tarmac, saying, ‘What’s up? How you doing?’ He then punched the pilot before walking up a flight of stairs into the plane and muttering, ‘There’s no place like home.'”

Analyst criticizes Combs for deleting apology

Diddy initially apologized to Cassie in an Instagram video. In his apology, he noted that he was going through a “dark time” when he assaulted her. Diddy also noted that he was “so disgusted” with himself for his actions. But when the Bad Boy founder recently deleted his Instagram page, he also deleted the apology video.

ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith is upset with Combs’ handling of his sexual assault allegations. On Tuesday, the analyst criticized Diddy after the rap mogul deleted his apology video to Cassie.

Last month, he criticized Combs on his podcast for his actions, calling them “stupid.” Smith also speculated about why the apology video was removed, saying it wouldn’t work in Combs’ favor.

“By removing the video, you throw all of that out the window: the possibility that the few people who might believe this actually have a reason to continue to believe you,” he said.
