Bridgerton Inspired Beers – Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton


Dear readers, if you have been swept away by the whirlwind of Bridgerton society, here is a selection of coffee concoctions to boost your emotions. Rohit Saha, Director of NPD at Third Wave Coffee is sharing these Bridgerton-inspired beers for you to try at home.


Lady Whistledown Society Beer

A strong and surprising espresso with a touch of intrigue, perfect for the latest Penelope Featherington gossip

Ingredients
30 ml (1 dose) of espresso
10 ml of Amaretto syrup
A zest of orange
A small piece of dark chocolate (optional)

Method

  1. Prepare a 30 ml espresso.
  2. Add the Amaretto syrup and stir well.
  3. Decorate with orange zest.
  4. You can also serve with a piece of dark chocolate.

Colin’s Spiritual Roast
A medium roast with a touch of sweetness and charm with a hint of cinnamon to add some wanderer intrigue.

Ingredients
240 ml freshly ground medium roast coffee
1 teaspoon brown sugar
30 ml of whole milk or cream
A pinch of cinnamon

Method

  1. Use your preferred method to brew a medium roast coffee (240 ml).
  2. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add the milk or cream and mix well.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top.

Lady Danbury’s Chai Dandy
This spicy chai latte is tailor-made for a wise and frank matriarch

Ingredients
240 ml strong brewed chai tea
30 ml (1 dose) of espresso
15 ml (1 tbsp) honey
120 ml steamed milk
A pinch of nutmeg

Method

  1. Prepare 240 ml of strong chai tea.
  2. Add espresso to chai tea.
  3. Stir in 15 ml of honey until dissolved.
  4. Pour 120 ml of steamed milk into the chai and espresso mixture.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top.
