Jennifer Lawrence shocked by wardrobe malfunction at Christmas lights ceremony

Jennifer Lawrence was shocked when her belt flew off while switching on the Dior Christmas lights at Saks Fifth Avenue on Monday.

The 33-year-old actress was giving a speech ahead of the unveiling of the Carousel of Dreams Christmas window display at the iconic New York store on Monday when she suffered an unexpected wardrobe malfunction.

In a hilarious video shared by Women’s Wear Daily via Instagram, Jennifer couldn’t hide her surprise and closed her face in shock as she looked at where her accessory had fallen to the ground.

“I’m so sorry, it was so loud my seatbelt came off!” Jennifer exclaimed, laughing to the crowd.

Jennifer looked chic in her Dior outfit, which consisted of a long black coat with a black belt tied over it, a white button-down shirt and black boots. She completed her look with a chunky black headband, a silver bracelet and diamond stud earrings.

However, the star was undeterred by the fashion fail and quickly pulled herself together before continuing her speech and unveiling the stunning Christmas lights display.

Dior ambassador Jennifer appeared alongside the luxury brand’s CEO Delphine Arnault and Saks Fifth Avenue president Marc Metrick.

The 2023 display covers the exterior of the 10-story building and features an impressive 300,000 LED lights.
