A bounty of 10 million pesos is offered for any information on Quiboloy

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced on Monday, July 8, 2024, that a PHP10 million reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

“I am eager to break the news to the youth and let them go, but I am eager to see them go because they are desperate to settle in Kanila and come, offering a P10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Pastor Quiboloy,” DILG Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said.

A bounty of one million pesos was also offered for Quiboloy’s five co-accused.

“And 1 million each for Cresente Canada, Paulene Canada, Ingrid Canada, Jackelyn Roy and Sylvia Cemañes,” Abalos added.

It would be recalled that a Davao City court issued an arrest warrant against Quiboloy and five other co-accused on April 3, 2024, for alleged violation of the Anti-Child Abuse Act.

On April 11, 2024, a Pasig City court issued an arrest warrant against the founder of KOJC for human trafficking.

Authorities have repeatedly tried to issue arrest warrants at locations in Davao City where Quiboloy was allegedly present, but to no avail.

As of this writing, regional channel GMA TV One Mindanao continues to communicate with the Quiboloy camp.
