An Indore municipal employee died in a road accident at Teen Imli intersection due to the negligence of a bus driver, CCTV captured.

Man crushed to death by bus in Indore

Indore: An employee of the Indore municipal corporation died in a road accident on Monday morning due to the negligence of a bus driver. The incident took place at Teen Imli intersection in the Azad Nagar Police Indore railway station area.

The victim, identified as Ram Prasad Maurya, was working on the Narmada project and was cycling to work when he was hit by a Mahakal Travels bus. The accident was caught on CCTV. The footage shows Ram Prasad being crushed by the bus, leading to his death on the spot.

The bus driver, responsible for the accident, was arrested by the police and the bus was seized. Ram Prasad Maurya’s body has been sent for postmortem. The Azad Nagar police are currently investigating the case to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
