Actor Sohel Rana demands cancellation of quotas

Recently, students from different universities in the country demonstrated to demand the abolition of the quota system in government jobs. Many people are talking a lot about this method.

Actor and freedom fighter Masud Parvez, popularly known as Sohel Rana, a veteran film actor and freedom fighter, expressed his opinion on the issue via Facebook on Monday (July 8) afternoon. As a freedom fighter, Sohel Rana expressed his opinion in favour of abolishing the quota system in work on his verified Facebook ID.

Sohel Rana wrote to the readers of his status that the names of freedom fighters are mentioned again and again because the country has been independent for 53 years. If we add 12 more years, he or she will be 65 years old. At this age, no one seeks employment or is not admitted to school or university. Their children have to get employment and get admitted in the quota system because of their father, this is an insult to the freedom fighters. “We freedom fighters never wanted such an opportunity. This quota system must be abolished at all levels,” he added.
