People Shocked After Police Interview Of Jensen Ackles After He Witnessed Alec Baldwin Rust Shooting Released

Internet users are shocked after discovering police interrogation footage of actor Jensen Ackles after realizing he was a witness in the Alec Baldwin case. Rust filming.

In 2021, Baldwin held a gun on the set of the film Rustwhen the shot was fired, hitting and killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Director Joel Souza was also shot in the shoulder, but later recovered.

Baldwin is scheduled to go on trial for involuntary manslaughter on Tuesday.

In March this year, the gunsmith responsible for the weapons on the set of the film was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

While everyone knows that Baldwin was the star and executive producer of the film, many were unaware that Jensen Ackles was to be his co-star.

The video was posted to YouTube and TikTok, where fans were shocked to realize the actor was even in the film, let alone a witness.

One comment read: “I had no idea he was involved, let alone an eyewitness! Poor Jensen.” And another said: “This is the first I’ve heard he was in this movie!”

One comment pointed out another shocking fact raised in the video.

It read: “I knew he was in the movie and on set I didn’t know he was supposed to be the one Alex was supposed to shoot later when they were actually going to shoot the scene.”

In his interview with police, Ackles described the scene that was being filmed that day: a shootout in a church between his character and Baldwin’s character.

The shot was fired as a close-up of Baldwin’s gun was being prepared, but later in the day it could have potentially been fired at Ackles or one of his stunt doubles.

The actor was not in the church when the shot rang out, but he described hearing the gunshot ring out.

He said: “The sound was just different, a real bullet sounds different than a blank bullet.

“I turned around in the church, I saw Joel (Souza) on the ground screaming, I saw Halyna sitting down, and her back was to me but I could see the blood pooling on her khaki jacket so I started screaming ‘doctor.’

“I stepped back and kicked myself for not running out there and doing something, but I don’t know what I would have done.”

In the comments on TikTok, one account said: “The fact that Jensen feels guilty for not doing something is absolutely heartbreaking.”

As filming continued on RustAckles did not return to the project, his role being replaced by Josh Hopkins.

Baldwin’s trial for involuntary manslaughter begins tomorrow, July 9.
