Spanish Home Ownership Workshop Offered

The Jessie L. Taylor Center and Lafayette Consolidated Government Housing and Community Services will host their first-ever Spanish-language homeownership workshop later this month.

The event will take place July 23-24 from 5-9 p.m. at the Jesse L. Taylor Center, 111 Shirley Picard Drive, Lafayette, LA 70501.

The workshop will provide valuable information and support to future homeowners in the community and offer a comprehensive overview of the home buying process with presentations from service professionals including a lender, real estate agent, inspector, insurance agent and attorney.

As space is limited, interested individuals are encouraged to call 337-291-5450 and register to reserve a spot. Participants must be at least 16 years of age.

“This is a unique opportunity to gain essential knowledge and receive advice from industry professionals, all in Spanish to better serve members of the Spanish-speaking community,” a statement from LCG said.
