Chelsea made Europa Conference League history when they scored EIGHT goals against minnows FC Noah

Chelsea recorded their biggest Europa Conference League win in history as they defeated FC Noah 8-0 ahead of Sunday’s clash with Arsenal.

The Blues were incredibly 6-0 up at half-time after blowing away the Armenian minnows at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.

Tosin Adarabioyo And Marc Guiu opened their accounts for the West Londoners in the 12th and 13th minutes respectively.

Axed Disasi headed the home team’s third home game moments later, before that Joao Felix joined the party.

His first of the evening came in the 21st minute, where he subtly chipped the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper Ognjen Cancarevic.

Mychailo Mudryk then fired a screamer from outside the penalty area – with a curling effort into the top right corner.

Felix then grabbed his second goal and added to the ever-growing tally with Chelsea’s next strike, which sent the home fans to dreamland heading into half-time.

It was a first half to remember for Enzo Fernandez, who was good with three assists, matching his total of what he achieved last season.

Chelsea’s 6–0 half-time lead was the largest scoring margin by an English team in a major European match since Derby County in September 1976.

The Rams led 9-0 at halftime in the UEFA Cup tie against Finn Harps on the baseball field before defeating their Irish opponents 12-0.

But while Chelsea failed to match that score, they did set a new Conference League record and equal another record in the tournament created in 2021.

The previous record for highest win was Norway’s Nordsjaelland’s 7-1 victory over Bulgarian team Ludogerets in October 2023.

Meanwhile, they are now one of four teams to hold the record of being involved in the biggest goalscoring match with eight goals.

It took until the 69th minute for Chelsea to take seventh place Christopher Nkunku home with a rebound.

And the Frenchman then scored his tenth goal of the season from the penalty spot in the 76th minute.

Chelsea could not add a ninth to their tally, but they did manage to avoid a late defeat and record their first clean sheet since beating Barrow 5–0 in the Carabao Cup in September.

The victory means Chelsea have now won each of their three Conference League games this season and sit top of the 36-team table.

Incredibly, they scored a whopping sixteen goals, while also eliminating Gent and Panathinaikos.

It was the perfect evening for boss Enzo Maresca as his side prepare to face London rivals Arsenal on Sunday.

Chelsea are currently ahead of the Gunners on goal difference in the Premier League, and could move third in the table with a win if results go their way.
