Meet the New York Athletes Competing for Gold at the Paris Olympics

Who will win gold at this year’s Paris Olympics? Will one of the athletes be from New York State?

Several Team USA athletes live in the Empire State, with some hailing from central New York, including Syracuse, Watkins Glen and Ithaca.

Syracuse’s Breanna Stewart will be competing in her third Olympics. She won gold in basketball at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. Will she be able to win a third gold medal?

You can find out when the 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris, France. The opening ceremonies will begin on July 26. The games will follow and continue until August 11.
