Two teenagers shot and seriously injured Thursday evening in west Phoenix

PHOENIX — Two teenagers are seriously injured after being shot Thursday evening.

Phoenix police say they were called to the area around 83rd Avenue and Broadway Road for a report of multiple people shot.

When officers arrived, they found two teenage boys suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police discovered the boys had been shot near 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

No information has been released about possible suspects at this time.

It is not yet clear what led to the shooting.

The shooting is under investigation.
