Roma ready to sell Aouar to Al-Ittihad for 15 million euros

Roma flop Houssem Aouar is reportedly set to transfer to Al-Ittihad for €15 million plus add-ons, Corriere dello Sport claims.

The midfielder arrived as a free agent last summer from Olympique Lyonnais but has struggled to establish himself at the Stadio Olimpico.

Jose Mourinho has criticised his performances and he is also not part of new coach Daniele De Rossi’s plans for the future, especially after the signing of Enzo Le Fee from Stade Rennais.

The 26-year-old Algerian international has been linked with several clubs, including OGC Nice and Al-Sadd in the Qatar Stars League.

He is expected to leave Roma after playing 25 official matches, in which he managed to score four goals.

Italian sources suggest that the negotiations could be concluded within the next 48 to 72 hours.
