Fantasy Football Flex Flyers: Add Xavier Legette, Tyjae Spears for Week 10, and Audric Estime for later

Each week I’ll help you troubleshoot lineup issues after a week’s worth of waivers in your fantasy football league. The breakdown here includes players who may have been left floating in free agency after the initial waiver push and could still be picked up and started in some tight situations.

Players are listed in order of preference for additions/starts, and the analysis is based on PPR scoring formats. I also end up with one player that is available everywhere and needs to be added immediately. You’ll know why after you read this article.

Xavier LegetteWR, CAR (59 percent): The Panthers recently traded away two WRs, clearing the way for Legette to operate as the team’s new No. 1 WR. The Giants rank 24 in fantasy points per game (FPPG) allowed for WRs. Bryce Young is starting to show some signs of improvement, and Legette will at least post adequate fantasy totals with a healthy number of targets. He has caught TD passes in three of his past four games.

Wan’Dale RobinsonWR, NYG (58 percent): Robinson’s production has declined over the last three games, but he is at a rebounding point for fantasy purposes this week. The Giants face the N.F.L‘s worst defense, and Darius Slayton (concussion) will also be out against Carolina. The first two entries in this week’s article are from the worst game of Week 10, but it might give you actual reasons to watch Sunday’s early game in Munich.

Tyjae SpearsRB, TEN (49 percent): Although he played through a foot problem last week, Tony Pollard was reportedly downgraded from a limited practice on Wednesday to an absence from practice on Thursday. Spears returned from a hamstring injury and was able to train fully on Thursday. He’s a potentially exciting and versatile performer who may see some upside if he takes on a bigger workload.

The Chargers allow the least FPPG to RBs, but if you need an RB plugin, the potential volume points to Spears as a viable pickup. If you are looking for a streamer for the end of the week and the choice is smaller, the players to be added will certainly not be ideal options, so you will have to opt for the possible volume and take the risk on the matchup here .

If Pollard can play, Spears might still be able to produce decent totals with a shared workload.

Rakim JarrettWR, TB (1 percent): The Tampa Bay The WR corps has been completely decimated by injuries, and Jarrett may have to play a major role in the offense for the Buccaneers in Week 10. He played on 84 percent of the snaps last week and caught three passes for 58 yards in his season debut. in the previous game after recovering from offseason knee surgery.

Continue to monitor the Buccaneers WR situation leading up to game day against San Francisco. Jarrett and Trey Palmer could be candidates to serve as top WRs for Baker Mayfield. The depth chart could change depending on the availability of the other Tampa Bay WRs, specifically Jalen McMillan And Sterling Shepardwho had not practiced on Thursday.

Tyler AllgeierRB, ATL (77 percent): I normally don’t include players in this article who have such a high roster percentage, but I have still seen Allgeier on the free agent list in some leagues. The Saints have allowed 10 rushing TDs to RBs, tied for second-most in the NFL, and the Falcons could drop a big hammer on them this week. Both Bijan Robinson and Allgeier could find the end zone against New Orleans.

Roschon JohnsonRB, CHI (55 percent): In a duel with New EnglandJohnson could get a few chances to convert TD opportunities into goal-line packages. Before last week, he rushed for four touchdowns in a four-game span. The Patriots are another team that ranks 31st in the NFL with 10 rushing TDs allowed to RBs. They’ve allowed five in the last four weeks.

Nick Westbrook-IkhineWR, TEN (16 percent): The Chargers pass defense makes for a formidable matchup. However, Westbrook-Ikhine has caught TD passes in four straight games. That kind of streak is bound to go away at some point, but Calvin Ridley will command a lot of defensive attention and NWI can take advantage of this.

Jalen CokerWR, CAR (10 percent): Another first-year Carolina WR to consider, Coker was quiet last week after showing some promise with 78 receiving yards in Week 9. The Giants aren’t an intimidating opponent for the Panthers, as long as Young can hang in there against their pass rush. Coker will be worth considering for those digging deeper for a lineup plugger.

Audric EtimeRB, DEN (12 percent): The Broncos needs to make a change at RB, like Javonte Williams is averaging 3.8 yards per carry and Bo Nix leads the team with four rushing TDs. There has been a lot of local buzz in Denver that it’s time to give this rookie a chance to add life to a sagging ground game.

Estime was drafted in the fifth round by the Broncos this year, yet he is described as a power back with some speed who can help balance the offense. I usually use plug and play types in this space, but I want to give readers a head start if Estime is still available in their leagues.

Now pick up the 6-foot-1, 227-pounder and see if his role expands this week. The Leaders present an obviously difficult matchup, and this entry is more about taking advantage of others who overlook Estime during the first waiver run.
