Four men arrested for gang rape of 16-year-old girl in Haridwar |

Haridwar: Police on Friday registered a case against four men accused of raping a 16-year-old girl from Haridwar by blackmailing her using explicit videos of her. The girl met one of the men about two years ago, police said. The 23-year-old man filmed the videos of her when they met and shared them with his friends, she added.
The four of them then blackmailed the girl using the videos and raped her several times.
Recently the girl tried to commit suicide, but was saved by her parents. She then disclosed the situation to them, after which the police registered a complaint about the matter. The SHO of the police station concerned said efforts are being made to arrest the accused and the girl is being counseled.
