Lamine Yamal reveals Hansi Flick’s message ahead of Euro 2024 final

Lamine Yamal has revealed a crucial message sent by his new Barcelona boss Hansi Flick ahead of the Euro 2024 final.

With a huge clash with England on July 14 looming, Lamine Yamal is preparing to celebrate his 17th birthday the day before and is keen to propel Spain to the title.

Luis de la Fuente has always trusted him during the tournament and he is certain that he will start against England.

His equaliser against France paved the way for victory and another record broken as the youngest goalscorer in the competition’s history.

However, this goal did not come as a surprise to Flick, who had predicted it before the match between Spain and the Blues.

“To be able to play in a European Championship and reach a final is incredible,” reports Mundo Deportivo.

“The most important thing is to win and that’s what we all want.

“Flick sends us messages before and after the games. He told me I would score before the game against France. I’m happy to have this relationship, even if it’s just via WhatsApp. He’ll probably write to me again before the final.”

With Barcelona back in pre-season training, Flick is expected to give players taking part in the final rounds of Euro 2024 a break, ahead of a pre-season tour of the United States in late July.
