Alternative Christmas Tree Stamp Now Available

The Bermuda Post Office (BPO) has announced that its latest series of commemorative stamps, Bermuda Inspired Alternative Christmas Trees, is now available for purchase.

A government spokesperson said: “The new stamps feature alternative Christmas trees created by the talented members of the Garden Club of Bermuda. The stamp’s images feature trees that were created from local plants and other reconstructed items and treated and recycled in a variety of ways.

“Garden Club floral artists featured in the commemorative stamp series include Susan Conyers, Sylvia Outerbridge, Sheila Semos and Karen Smith.

“These stamps demonstrate a unique insight into Bermuda’s rich natural heritage and are a welcome addition ahead of the holiday season.

“The public can purchase this latest commemorative edition at the Bermuda Post Office or any sub-post office. Stamp prices range from 0.50c – $1.55. Orders can also be made online at philatelic.bermudapost.bm.”
