81st and Hampton crash, kids get hurt

Three people, including two 5-year-old children, were injured in a crash on Milwaukee’s north side Friday evening.

MILWAUKEE – Three people were injured – including two 5-year-old children – in a crash in Milwaukee on Friday evening, October 25.

It happened near 81st and Hampton around 8 p.m. Police said a car was traveling westbound on Hampton Avenue when it struck two unoccupied cars and a tree.

The two 5-year-old children were passengers in the car that crashed, police said. They were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The 34-year-old driver was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The police subsequently arrested the driver. The Public Prosecution Service will assess the charges.
