Students shared exam questions on social media, which was termed as cheating since the exam had already started when the images surfaced. Officials arrested and referred the culprits to the disciplinary board.

Another source confirmed that an investigation was underway to uncover further details.

Since the start of the exam cycle, more than 800 students have been caught using their phones to cheat, earning them a two-cycle ban.

According to the ministry’s schedule, science and industry students took the biology test, while arts and sharia students took the second Arabic language test. Hospitality and tourism students took their second food production exam.

The length of the exams varied, with science, arts and Sharia exams lasting two hours, while industrial, home economics and hotel exams lasting one and a half hours.
