Meridian man faces charges after police acted following a cyber tip in a child exploitation case

A Meridian man has been arrested on child exploitation charges after Meridian police received a cyber tip.

Meridian Police arrested 26-year-old Nathaniel Thames on Thursday after executing a search warrant. Police obtained the warrant after receiving a tip-off that child pornography had been shared from an account linked to the Thames Meridian address.

Thanmes is being held in the Ada County Jail on a $2 million bond. He was charged with 14 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
