Wiz Khalifa Breaks Silence for the First Time on Drug Arrest

Wiz Khalifa has finally broken his silence on his drug possession arrest in Romania.

The American rapper was charged but released shortly after his arrest.

“Last night’s show was amazing. I didn’t mean to disrespect Romania by going on stage,” Wiz wrote.

He politely apologized and added: “They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But no big joint next time.”

Wiz reportedly used marijuana during performance at Beach Please!

As reported by French Press Agency Agence France Presse (AFP)Wiz was performing at the Costinesti Festival in Romania, where police reportedly found cannabis in his possession.

“During a performance at a music festival held in the seaside resort of Costinesti, the accused was found in possession of more than 18 grams of cannabis and having consumed (on stage) another quantity in the form of a homemade cigarette,” DIICOT said in its statement.

According to Romanian law, cannabis is considered a “risky drug.” Wiz was reportedly sentenced to ten years in prison.
