KCKPD investigates homicide on 6th, Splitlog

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City, Kansas Police Department detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead on Friday.

At approximately 5:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home in the area of ​​North 6th Street and Splitlog Avenue for a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police tracked down and arrested the suspect.
