Johns Hopkins University describes this condition as a blood circulation disorder that causes an increased heart rate when standing up from a sitting or lying position. Symptoms can include dizziness, headaches, blurred vision, and more.

“I thought a diagnosis would allow me to get treatment so I could get back in the ring, but unfortunately the doctors advised me not to fight again,” Tomlin wrote. “This was extremely hard to hear, as boxing has been my life since I was a kid.”

According to his Instagram profile, Tomlin has 14 wins and only two losses with nine knockouts to his name.
