American Sportswear Collections Inspired by the 20s: High Summer Capsule

Thom Browne has launched a limited edition High Summer capsule collection for men and women, drawing inspiration from American sportswear of the 1920s and 1930s. The collection focuses on lightweight tailoring and the use of typewriter fabrics to reflect a powerful blend of elegance and nostalgia.

Highlights from Thom Browne’s High Summer capsule collection include a belted pleated midi dress and tailored sportswear pieces, such as the Milano cotton cropped cardigan and Oxford shirts. For men, offerings include relaxed trousers, rugby shorts and classic outerwear. A cotton twill baseball cap and matching sunglasses, including cat-eye shades, round out the line. The garments are adorned with Thom Browne’s signature four-bar motif and an American flag patch, which adds a unique touch.
