JD Vance’s website disappears, along with his anti-abortion message

After announcing he was Trump’s running mate, JD Vance apparently removed his anti-abortion message from his Senate campaign website. HuffPost political reporter Jennifer Bendery revealed that the message was missing from X. In her original post on Monday, Bendery posted a screenshot of the Republican senator’s site with the caption, “This is on JD Vance’s website.” The statement read, in part, “I am 100 percent pro-life and believe that abortion has transformed our society into a place where we view children as an inconvenience to be thrown away rather than a blessing to be nurtured.” He then detailed plans to “expand adoption and promote pregnancy” as well as “child tax credits.” A day later, Bendery responded to his previous post on X, confirming that the passage was no longer there. Vance’s website (jdvance.com), meanwhile, now redirects users to donaldjtrump.com. Trump, whose position on the issues has wavered in the past, recently said Time He opposed a federal ban on abortion and was more inclined to let states decide individually.
