Cornerstone Offers Another Back-to-School Backpack Event

VERNON, CT — The Cornerstone Foundation is once again providing padded backpacks to children in Vernon, Tolland and Ellington for the start of the school year.

Opening night is scheduled for August 2 at Cornerstone, located on Prospect Street in Vernon.

Cornerstone invites students in grades 1-12 to participate.

The event is free, but each student will need a ticket to attend and, due to limited space, only one adult per student will be allowed.

August 2 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
August 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
August 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
August 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
