Join us for a hands-on fashion workshop and explore fashion as a designer, led by teaching artist Jayla Slater!

Explore self-expression through design – learn about pattern making, sewing patterns, and the different techniques used to create beautiful designs, like those found in Christian Siriano: People Are People.

Jayla Slater is a Memphis-based fashion designer specializing in technical design. Jayla teaches pattern making at the University of Memphis when she’s not working on a client project. You can also find her at TONE Memphis, where she manages the gallery. In her personal practice, she enjoys creating looks for women who are ready to take on the world.

Christian Siriano: People Are People is organized by the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, Atlanta.
