Crash kills one person at South Pecos and East Flamingo Road

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Channel 13 is monitoring a road closure caused by an accident Friday around 5:13 p.m.

Earlier in the day, a vehicle was reported stolen.

The driver/suspect of the stolen vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Pecos when he struck another vehicle at the intersection of Flamingo.

Four vehicles were involved in the accident.

When police arrived, the suspect fled on foot.

One victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

A second victim is in serious condition.

Four other people involved in the accident are being examined in hospital.

All lanes are currently closed.
