TriStar Hendersonville Brings Freestanding Emergency Room to White House

TriStar Hendersonville Plans to Bring Freestanding Emergency Room to White House!

“We are proud to be the hospital of choice for residents of White House and the surrounding communities, and we look forward to bringing our care closer to home,” said Justin Coury, CEO of TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. “This new freestanding emergency room will provide residents with much faster access to high-quality, life-saving emergency care.”

TriStar Hendersonville plans to apply for a Certificate of Need from the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission to build a state-of-the-art emergency room that will improve access to critical emergency services. We are excited to expand our services to this growing community and look forward to providing lifesaving care closer to home.

A freestanding emergency department can do everything a hospital emergency department can do. It can treat heart attacks, strokes, broken bones and other emergencies. The only difference is that it is not connected to a hospital, allowing it to be located in communities miles from the nearest emergency department to provide faster care.

The proposed freestanding emergency room will include:

• 11 treatment/examination rooms
• Trauma room
• Imaging Department
• Nursing station
• Support space
