JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Outgoing Missouri Gov. Mike Parson has announced three endorsements for statewide offices, including support for a potential successor as governor.

Parson will support current Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe in his campaign for Missouri governor.

Parson will also support Andrew Bailey in his campaign for Missouri attorney general and Vivek Malek in his campaign for Missouri treasurer.

Parson says he only supports the candidates for governor, attorney general and treasurer because those are the candidates he nominated for those positions.

He said he would not support elections for lieutenant governor or secretary of state.

Kehoe, a Republican, has served as lieutenant governor since June 18, 2018.

Bailey and Malek, both Republicans, have served as attorney general and treasurer since January 2023.

Parson will step down as Missouri governor in January 2025 after serving two terms, the first in which he succeeded Eric Greitens after he resigned.

This is a developing story. Check back for more details.
