Man, 63, arrested after assault on street cleaner

Footage seen by BBC News NI appears to show three street cleaners fighting a man on Thursday at around 03:00 BST on Great Victoria Street in the city center.

In a statement, Belfast City Council said it was “aware” of the images and was “urgently” investigating the incident.

The PSNI previously said it was “assessing the content” of the images and “liaising with Belfast City Council” as part of the investigation.
