(Video): A little hint from a teenager that he is already ready to compete for first-team minutes

Perhaps it’s simply because we’ve been so deprived of Chelsea action since the end of the season, but we’ve really enjoyed the training footage that’s been released in the club’s videos since pre-season began.

This week is full of interesting things. Rondos, possession games, etc. One split second we noticed was after 6 minutes and 50 seconds. New signing Marc Guiu, still a teenager with only a few minutes of play in the first division, gets into a duel with two defenders and comes out on top.

This is exactly the kind of physicality we want to see from him to prove that he is capable of immediately fulfilling his role as a substitute in the first team. The more we see of him in these sessions, the happier we will be.
