Nia Jax – “WWE Locker Room Culture Is Constantly Evolving”

Nia Jax will challenge Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship next month at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

On a recent edition of the “Battleground” podcast, Jax gave his thoughts on how the WWE locker room environment has changed following his return to the company.

You can discover some excerpts from the podcast below:

Nia Jax on Locker Room Culture: “The culture in the locker room is constantly changing, but I find that we have more support for each other. I come from a team background, I’ve played sports my whole life and I’ve always thought that ‘you’re only as strong as your weakest link.’ I feel like before, everyone took it more as ‘me, me, me,’ like ‘I have to do this.’ Now, we need to come together to support this person, and we all have to come together. I think it’s more of a team and a group effort in the locker room, I think.”

On how things have changed since his return to WWE: “I also feel like a lot of creatives and producers are more like, ‘Hey, this is what we’re doing, but make sure you’re having fun. Enjoy what you’re doing.’ It’s not like, ‘Oh my gosh, I did this, I’m going to have so much backlash when I’m behind the scenes.’ It’s more like, ‘Try something. If it doesn’t work, figure it out. We’ll figure it out later.’ It’s a different culture and a different atmosphere, and I feel like there’s more support and encouragement.”

WWE SummerSlam 2024 will take place on Saturday, August 3 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.
