In a TV debate on June 29, he claimed that there are currently 18 million undocumented immigrants in the US.

The government’s most recent estimate was just under 11 million as of January 1, 2022. This is an increase of 500,000 in two years.

Speaking to Sky’s partner network NBC News on Thursday, Trump said he will have “no choice” but to continue deportations once he returns to the Oval Office.

People are afraid that they will lose their freedoms,” said one of the statements. immigration lawyers Evan Green told Reuters.

He added that his company has received a new email request to that effect “every half hour.”
