Jake Paul Sends Nasty Message to Dana White Ahead of Mike Perry Fight: ‘They Tried to Assassinate Me’

Jake Paul sent a nasty message to Dana White during Friday ceremonial weighings for his upcoming boxing match against former Ultimate Fighting Championship champion, Mike Perry.

This weekend’s showdown between Paul and Perry will be an interesting one. Paul was hoping to get his hands on Mike Tyson this month in a massive showdown on Netflix, but the boxing gods had other plans. Perry was called up to replace a medically unfit Tyson will do his best to become the first fighter to stop Paul.

The social media sensation has faced some veteran fighters throughout his boxing career, but Paul has beaten them all. That includes former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley, as well as star Nate Diaz. Fight fans are hoping Paul will start branching out and fighting up-and-coming fighters his age, but “Problem Child” is wreaking havoc against some of the UFC’s biggest outcasts.

On Friday, Paul took a moment to call out White and any former UFC fighters who think they can beat him in the ring. Paul also claimed that White would offer Perry a contract to return to the UFC if he could stop Paul this weekend.

I guess both will do it. never be friends.

“Dana White said he’d give him a UFC contract if he could knock me out,” Paul said during his onstage interview with Ariel Helwani (pictured above). “Well, guess what, Dana? You can tear up that fucking contract because I’m gonna fuck up Mike Perry.”

“Anybody that throws punches at me, any of your MMA fighters are getting screwed. They tried to assassinate me. They don’t want me in this sport. They hate that I run this sport.”

Paul vs. Perry will take place later tonight (Saturday, July 20, 2024) live on DAZN PPV from inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, and will serve as the main event. “Problem Child” is currently listed as the betting favorite to win the “Fear No Man” matchup, but Perry is 6-0 since leaving the UFC in 2021, so anything is possible.
