Does Rip die in Yellowstone?

As Yellowstone ends with the final episodes of Season 5, Part 2, everyone is wondering if its most loyal hand, Rip, will die before the show ends.

In many ways, Rip is the smartest man in the world Dutton Ranch. With his mouth closed and his fists clenched, Rip is a man who relies on his talent for violence to get the job done.

The Yellowstone character has been an integral part of the machine since day one, keeping John Dutton’s secrets and cleaning up the human waste on his behalf. But by living such a risky lifestyle, he is constantly taking risks with his own life.

So, did Rip die? Yellowstone yet? And if not, what are his chances of getting out alive? (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)

Does Rip die in Yellowstone?

Rip Wheeler (played by Cole Hauser) hasn’t died in Yellowstone yet.

His profession do endanger him. Being John’s right-hand man, Rip is often sent to eliminate enemies and exact revenge for the family. He is also a vital security for the ranch, standing up to anyone who dares to stray too far into Dutton land.

Decisive

This means that he has had a few brushes with death so far. In Season 1, Rip came across a tourist couple in the middle of the forest, who had fallen over the edge of a cliff and lost their grip within moments. Rip failed to save them both and was nearly mauled by a bear in the process.

He’s also had violent encounters with a motorcycle gang in Season 3 (who go fist-to-fist with Rip and the other ranch hands, one even holding a gun to Rip) and threw a poisonous snake in Roarke Morris’ face in Season 4.

During the botched assassination of John Dutton and his family in the season 3 finale, attackers converged on the ranch and burned down Rip’s house. Luckily he wasn’t in the house at the time.

Needless to say, any of these scenarios could have gone wrong for Rip. It is only thanks to his intense strength, ferocity and drive to get the job done that he manages to get everyone out alive.

But that doesn’t mean Rip is completely safe from the Grim Reaper…

Could Rip die in Season 5, Part 2?

It’s possible that Rip dies in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2, but honestly, there are other characters who are more likely to die before him.

As already established, Rip is an eminently capable ranch manager. It would take a lot of brute force to beat him, and we don’t see that happening in the finals. Yellowstone Episodes.

We have already created a ranking who is most likely to die in part 2and Rip is perhaps one of the safest members of the Yellowstone crew. Still, with John Dutton out of the picture (thanks to Kevin Costner’s departure), that now makes Rip one of the most important people on the ground.

As such, his risk level only went up. The fight is now mainly between Beth and Jamie Dutton, although there is reason to believe the siblings and their war could have negative consequences for their own loved ones, including Rip.

I hope Rip stays safe when Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 returns on November 10.
