Peaky Blinders hunk dons Baywatch-inspired red Speedo for brand new role

One of Peaky Blinders’ most beloved stars has opened up about his first dramatic theatre role.

Loyal fans of the BBC One period drama will remember Finn Cole as bad boy Michael Gray. His character caused Tommy Shelby plenty of trouble as they battled for the top spot as gang leader in the Birmingham-set crime drama.

The six-episode series sadly ended in 2022, but that hasn’t stopped the hunk from landing exciting new roles since then. On Friday (July 19), the 28-year-old Hollywood actor made his theatre debut after landing the lead role in a new play called Red Speedo.

The film is based on a 2013 book that follows an Olympic hopeful who does everything he can to escape a scandal after performance-enhancing drugs are found in his teammate’s locker. In the new footage, the TV favourite leaves little to the imagination as he slips into a pair of iconic red briefs.

He looked simply stunning as he posed up a storm at the Orange Tree Theatre in London. A huge dragon tattoo can be seen covering his entire back and half of his left leg as he stares into the distance.

The Baywatch-inspired costume shows off his bulging biceps and washboard abs as he performs on stage. It even looks like a swimming pool was built on stage for the special Off-Broadway production of the play.
