Potential homebuyers are being ‘scared away’ by Diddy’s LA Mansion

Who would give up on a deal on a ten-bedroom, 17,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills? Perhaps those in the know know that this particular house is being sold by Sean “Diddy” Combs, the man accused of running a sex trafficking ring through the house. Sources say potential buyers are chased away through the place.

The European style mansion is located on a site of 1.5 hectares with a luxurious swimming pool, a theater for 35 people and a cave that is accessible via a (kind of spooky) underground tunnel, according to Curbed. Other amenities include a two-story guest house, a spa building with a built-in beauty salon, a basketball court, and all the other things a celebrity would put in their home to avoid having to leave it.

However, in March, Department of Homeland Security agents conducted a raid from the house following a series of civil lawsuits against Combs, accusing him of sex trafficking and other blatant sex crimes. Federal authorities revealed at a news conference that agents had discovered more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil among a whole range of recording devices in the home.

By September, the property was listed on the market for $61.5 million. A week later, the mogul was arrested on federal sex crimes charges.

According to TMZThere are few potential buyers. A married couple told the outlet that they viewed the house and “sneaked out,” rushing to leave the property. Another source said the mansion’s outlet had an “ick factor” as the place is said to be the site of several sexual assaults and more debauchery. A real estate agent told me TMZaside from Combs’ case, the asking price is a lot of more than what the place is worth. Restrained reported that Combs originally bought the place for $39 million in 2014.

Combs’ pending federal case

On Monday September 16th the 54-year-old rap mogul was arrested in Manhattan by federal authorities six months after they raided his two homes in Los Angeles and Miami. His indictment was revealed the next morning, charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and engaging in interstate transportation for the purpose of prostitution were revealed. The allegations against Combs include sexual abuse, physical abuse, bribery and various drug offenses.

The most striking claims come from him so-called ‘freak off’ sex partieswhere prosecutors allege women and men were drugged and forced to perform sex acts at Combs’ pleasure. He was also accused of using video footage to blackmail the victims into compliance.

These allegations were first raised by ex-girlfriend and Bad Boy Records signee Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura in a civil suit accusing him of sex trafficking, human trafficking, sexual battery, sexual assault and other charges. Combs quickly settled the case within 24 hours, but lawsuits from other employees quickly followed in the months that followed. Recently, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee announced that he is representing more than 100 plaintiffs came forward with claims of rape, sexual exploitation and assault against the rapper.

Although many of the lawsuits since 2023 have been civil, Combs faces criminal charges in this federal case. He has pleaded not guilty and was denied bail. His trial is scheduled for May 2025.
