Delta Flight Cancellations Mount, CEO Apologizes, Offers Exemptions

Delta Air Lines (DAL) faced more cancellations Sunday due to the impact of the CrowdStrike (CRWD) outage, canceling more than 20% of its daily schedule, according to Cirium. CEO Ed Bastian apologized to customers, offering them travel waivers to “change their itinerary at no cost.”
