Prince William is hopeful that his wife Kate Middleton will be at his side when he makes royal tours in 2025.

As his schedule for the coming year is planned, William, 42, looks ahead to what could be possible for them. On September 9, after about six months of cancer treatment, Kate, 42, announced in an intimate family video that she had completed chemotherapy.

The prince – who has just received a busy week in Cape Town, South Africa – said: “Hopefully Catherine will do a bit more next year so we might have some more trips planned.”

Kate appeared next to William and King Charles at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on November 9, and it is expected that she will also attend the ceremony at The Cenotaph in London on November 10, paying tribute to Britain’s war dead, for Remembrance Sunday.

After William said it had been a “brutal” year with both his wife and father dealing with cancer, his step was light, as if some of the pressure from those serious illnesses has eased.
