When it comes to motorhomes, the quality of the journey is as important as the destination. Any seasoned traveller will want a caravan that is aerodynamic, easy to tow and has low energy consumption. South Korean brand Polydrops recently unveiled its P21 motorhome, which not only meets these requirements, but can also comfortably accommodate a family of four.

The P21 is a spacious campervan measuring 21 feet long, with a double bed and an optional child’s bed. It has ample storage space, including cleverly placed cubbies and overhead bins to maximise space in the limited area. It can also be upgraded to include a full cooking station with a microwave and induction stove, allowing you to cook in the comfort of your home on wheels. A washroom unit with a sink, shower and portable toilet can be added for an additional cost.

From above, the camper’s shape looks more like a small boat than a trailer, and that’s due to the wedge-shaped edges that taper to a point. This unique design allows the P21 to cut through the air, making it easy to tow behind a car. The trailer also features a state-of-the-art suspension system, ensuring a smooth ride no matter how flat or rough the terrain. Weighing between 1,500 and 2,000 pounds, the P21 is light enough to tow behind SUVs and sedans and works with both electric and gas-powered vehicles.

As well as being practical, the P21 is also environmentally friendly. It is fully electric and runs on a rechargeable battery thanks to the 1300W solar panel that covers the roof of the caravan. The electrical system is very efficient and quiet, ensuring you get a restful night’s sleep while the motorhome recharges.

The P21 is currently available for pre-order on Polydrops’ website, with a base price starting at $38,900. A $100 deposit is also required to place a pre-order.
